Access

Nagoya University has three campuses. The physics department is in Higashiyama Campus, which is the main campus.

Buildings B, C, D, Rigakukan (Science Hall) and ES Sogokan (Engineering and Science Bldg.) in the map below constitute the buildings of the Department of Physics, School of Science, Nagoya University.
The Administration Office of the Department is located in Room C211 on the 2nd floor of Bldg. C. It is recommended to visit this office first, if you need assistance.

To get to the buildings of the Department of Physics, take either Exit No. 2 or Exit No. 3 at the Nagoya Daigaku Subway Station.

From JR Nagoya Station, Meitetsu Shin Nagoya Station, or Kintetsu Nagoya Station

From JR Kanayama Station or Meitetsu Kanayama Station

Meijo Subway Line Kanayama Station Counterclockwise (bound for Aratamabashi/Yagoto) → get off at Nagoya University Station

From Sakae Subway Station or Meitetsu Seto Line Sakae Station

From Sakae Bus Terminal (Oasis 21 Bus Stop), board at No. 5 for City Bus Sakae 16 bound for Nagoya University, or from Sakae Bus Terminal (Fountain Mae Bus Stop), board at No. 18 for City Bus Sakae 17 bound for Nagoya University, and get off at the last stop, Nagoya University

From Chubu International Airport (Centrair)

Take Meitetsu Airport Line Chubu Kokusai Kuko Station → get off at Kanayama Station, then transfer to the subway (see "By Train or Bus" above)

From Nagoya Airport

Aoi Kotsu Highway Bus Nagoya Airport → Sakae or Nagoya Station, then transfer to subway or city bus (see "By Train or Bus" above)
